Unas 700 personas han cortado durante más de una hora la carretera N-340 a su paso por la localidad tarraconense de L'Aldea para mostrar su rechazo al cierre de la planta de la multinacional Lear en Roquetes (Tarragona), donde trabajan 515 personas.
Durante la protesta, que acaba de terminar, los afectados han quemado algunos neumáticos y sus batas de trabajo y han reclamado a la empresa indemnizaciones "dignas".
Asimismo, han gritado consignas como: "No queremos rebajas, queremos lo que nos toca", "Lear, traidora" y "Por unas indemnizaciones dignas".
El pasado día 11 de noviembre los trabajadores de Lear ya protestaron ante la Generalitat y el Parlament y reclamaron al gobierno catalán un compromiso con los empleados de la planta de Roquetes.
Por otra parte, el departamento de Trabajo de la Generalitat y la Inspección de Trabajo autorizaron hace unos días la prolongación del período de negociación del expediente de cierre de la fábrica de Lear hasta el próximo lunes, después de que aún no se haya llegado a ningún acuerdo.
El periodo de negociaciones expiraba ayer, pero Trabajo decidió prolongar los días de negociaciones puesto que las posturas de los sindicatos y la empresa están muy alejadas. ctor/id
