Una vez más, un agente de Policía acusado de maltratar a un manifestante sale airoso y sin cargos. El Juzgado de Instrucción número 12 de Valencia ha absuelto al policía imputado por malos tratos y vejaciones a un menor, que se habrían producido durante las cargas contra las movilizaciones estudiantiles que se oponían los recortes en Educación y que dieron lugar a la denominada Primavera Valenciana.
Según la sentencia emitida por el juez, el denunciante no sufrió daño físico alguno y fue arrestado por golpear y morder al agente, hechos que ha admitido ante la Fiscalía y el Juzgado de Menores y que justificarían su detención. Además, en los vídeos aportados al Juzgado se observa que la reducción y posterior detención del menor se llevaron a cabo 'limpiamente'.

Por ello, el fiscal pedía la libre absolución del agente de policía, debido a la falta de evidencias de que existieran malos tratos y vejaciones al menor y, por tanto, falta de fundamento para una condena.
Los hechos ocurrieron en una de las concentraciones que tuvieron lugar en febrero de 2012 frente al instituto de Secundaria (IES) Lluís Vives de Valencia, tras las que se denunciaron multitud de casos similares de cargas violentas y abusos por parte de la policía a los alumnos. El Cuerpo Nacional de Policía negó en su momento tales acusaciones y alegó que únicamente trataron de desalojar a los jóvenes que se encontraban sentados en la calzada y dificultaban el tráfico.
