La actriz Jorja Fox, que abandonó hace dos años la serie de televisión "CSI", donde daba vida a la forense Sara Sidle, uno de los personajes principales, regresará al programa en su décima temporada, informó el canal CBS.
La intérprete estadounidense, de 41 años, volverá a la serie en el primer episodio de la nueva temporada.
"Estamos entusiasmados con el regreso de Jorja a 'CSI'", dijo una de las productoras ejecutivas de la serie, Carol Mendelsohn.
La productora comentó que los espectadores podrán "descubrir a dónde llevó la vida al personaje de Sara Sidle y qué es lo que la trae de vuelta al equipo de 'CSI' en Las Vegas en el primer episodio de la nueva temporada".
La serie "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" gira en torno a un grupo de científicos forenses que trabaja en Las Vegas (EEUU), investigando crímenes que suceden en esa ciudad.
La décima temporada del programa de televisión comienza su emisión en EEUU el 24 de septiembre a través del canal CBS.
El personaje de Jorja Fox, miembro del equipo "CSI" desde que comenzó la serie en el año 2000, abandonó el programa en su octava temporada, aunque apareció brevemente en la novena para explicar el interés romántico de Gil Grissom, interpretado por William Petersen, hacia ella.
El propio Petersen dejó la serie la temporada pasada y fue sustituido por Laurence Fishburne, aunque en la piel de otro personaje, un ex patólogo que emplea su tiempo como profesor en un curso de criminología.
El canal CBS no comentó nada acerca de un hipotético regreso de Petersen en la nueva temporada.
