El avión de la misión humanitaria organizada por Francia para la liberación de la rehén de las FARC Ingrid Betancourt llegó hoy a Colombia y se encuentra en la base aérea militar de Catam, en Bogotá, según informó Radio Caracol.
La emisora de radio colombiana informó que el avión llegó a las 01.20 hora local (06.20 GMT) y que la misión incluye dos médicos y dos diplomáticos.
El avión se encuentra estacionado "a la espera de un plan de vuelo" presumiblemente para el rescate de Betancourt, señaló Radio Caracol.
El objetivo oficial de la misión es tratar de contactar con las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) y conseguir acceso a la cautiva colombo-francesa para aportarle cuidados médicos.
El avión, un Falcón 50, partió el miércoles de una base militar a las afueras de París, e hizo escala en la isla francesa de Martinica durante la noche antes de seguir viaje a Colombia, según fuentes oficiales francesas.
Fuentes próximas al caso en París confirmaron a Efe que hasta el momento las FARC no se han pronunciado sobre el acceso de la misión humanitaria a Betancourt.
El presidente francés, Nicolas Sarkozy, indicó que Betancourt, secuestrada por las FARC desde hace más de seis años, está en "peligro de muerte inminente".
