El Bayern de Múnich tendrá que soportar una "lucha brutal" para conservar a su principal estrella, Franck Ribéry, aunque tiene un contrato con el vigente campeón de la Bundesliga hasta 2011, dijo el viernes el director general del club, Uli Hoeness.
El Bayern ha dicho en reiteradas ocasiones que no va a transferir a Ribéry. El año pasado, en su primera temporada en el club, el futbolista ayudó al equipo a ganar la Bundesliga y la Copa de Alemania.
Pero Hoeness reconoció que había importantes clubes europeos que estarían interesados en invertir grandes sumas de dinero para atraer al jugador.
"Nuestro objetivo es hacerlo todo para conservarle", dijo Hoeness al periódico Bild. "Pero será una lucha brutal. Con seguridad recibirá propuestas y por eso es muy importante que no cedamos y nos expresemos muy claramente para poder conservarle", añadió.
Hoeness reveló que los agentes son los más interesados en transferir a jugadores importantes, debido a las comisiones que pueden ganar.
"Si hay descontento, entonces los asesores están esperando su oportunidad. Ellos hacen dinero cuando los jugadores son traspasados y no cuando juegan durante años en un solo equipo", comentó.
