El Banco Central Europeo (BCE) adjudicó hoy 28.774 millones de euros a un tipo de interés fijo del 1,5 por ciento y un plazo de 91 días.
Según informó el BCE, 87 bancos comerciales participaron en esta operación de refinanciación, que se liquidará mañana y vence el 25 de junio.
El BCE bajó los tipos de interés a principios de mes en 50 puntos básicos, hasta el 1,5 por ciento, y dejó la puerta abierta a nuevos recortes los próximos meses.
El BCE conduce actualmente las operaciones principales de refinanciación mediante un procedimiento de subastas a tipo de interés fijo y con adjudicación plena.
La entidad monetaria quiere de esa manera asegurar que los bancos comerciales de la zona del euro satisfacen sus necesidades de liquidez.
