La última película de Tom Cruise y Cameron Díaz reanudará este martes su rodaje en las calles de Cádiz tras suspenderse por la huida de siete toros que se usaban en una escena. Las autoridades municipales han autorizado a la productora española ‘Calle Cruzada’ a retomar la grabación de “Knight and Day” después de confeccionar un nuevo plan de seguridad que garantice que el encierro de San Fermín que se recrea con astados de verdad por el casco histórico gaditano quedará sólo en una simulación, y no en uno real. Y es que el pasado domingo, tras escapar del cercado, la manada acabó galopando a su aire por la localidad, hiriendo a dos mujeres y sembrando el pánico.
“Las vallas que delimitan el recorrido de los toros por las calles del centro estarán sujetas al suelo y a los muros con soldaduras y herrajes más resistentes que los anteriores”, señala David Ortega, responsable de comunicación de ‘Calle Cruzada’. Además, tal y como exigía el consistorio gaditano, la productora instaló durante el día de ayer un nuevo vallado en el perímetro del ya existente. “Así se dobla la seguridad”, garantiza Ortega ante la posibilidad de que los morlacos vuelvan a dar un susto e intenten dar un nuevo paseo por la ciudad.
Con este acuerdo se mantendrá el gran impacto económico y publicitario que supone para la ciudad el rodaje en sus calles de una superproducción de Hollywood con la presencia de megaestrellas como Cruise o Díaz. La Asociación Provincial de Hosteleros estima en 1.200.000 euros los beneficios que el equipo de grabación de 350 personas dejará en Cádiz y que parecía que se escapaban con el inesperado encierro del ensayo del domingo.
De momento, más de 300 comerciantes que han cerrado sus negocios por necesidades del rodaje, unos 400 figurantes que pensaban participar como extras en la filmación del encierro y, en definitiva, toda una ciudad, acostumbrada a esto del disfraz, espera convertirse de una vez por todas en una Pamplona de cartón piedra.
