Catorce personas han perdido la vida en los trece accidentes de tráfico mortales ocurridos en las carreteras españolas durante el Puente de Todos los Santos, según la Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT).
En estos siniestros, ocurridos entre las 15:00 horas del viernes 28 de octubre y las 24:00 horas de ayer, martes 1 de noviembre, ha habido también nueve heridos graves y siete leves.
Tres de las catorce personas que han perdido la vida durante el puente eran motoristas.
De los trece accidentes, cinco han sido salidas de vía, cinco colisiones, dos vuelcos y un atropello a peatón.
La jornada del sábado fue la más trágica del puente con seis muertos en otros tantos accidentes, en los que cinco personas resultaron heridas graves y seis leves, mientras que el domingo hubo dos víctimas mortales en dos siniestros.
El lunes se registraron dos muertos en dos accidentes, en los que dos personas resultaron heridas de gravedad y una de carácter leve, en tanto que el martes hubo cuatro fallecidos en tres accidentes, con dos heridos graves.
En el acumulado anual, hasta el 31 de octubre, se llevan contabilizados 1.245 fallecidos, 204 menos que hasta la misma fecha del año pasado, lo que representa un descenso del 14 por ciento.
En cuanto al estado de las carreteras, a las 08:30 horas se registran retenciones en los accesos a las principales ciudades como Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla y Valencia.
Hay diez kilómetros de retenciones en la A-4 a su paso por Valdemoro (Madrid) por un accidente.
