El vicepresidente primero de la CEOE, Arturo Fernández, dijo hoy que el Gobierno "no tiene por qué castigar" a la patronal cuando apruebe el decreto de reforma de la negociación colectiva, a pesar de que el ministro de Trabajo les acusó de haber imposibilitado un acuerdo con los sindicatos.
Fernández confió en que el próximo viernes el Consejo de Ministros saque adelante una reforma "buena" y "profunda", acorde con los puntos de consenso que han podido alcanzarse en las conversaciones que se han prolongado más de tres meses.
"Los mimbres están ahí encima", señaló el también presidente de la patronal madrileña CEIM, a la que se ha responsabilizado del documento de máximos que precipitó la ruptura de diálogo entre los agentes sociales.
A su juicio, la CEOE "ha hecho lo que tenía que hacer" después de haber negociado con los sindicatos, y ahora "es el momento oportuno de que el Gobierno legisle".
En unas declaraciones tras asistir a un discurso del portavoz de CiU en el Congreso, Josep Antoni Duran i Lleida, en el Forum Europa, reiteró "aquí no hay que castigar ni a la CEOE ni a los sindicatos" cuando se apruebe la reforma.
El ministro de Trabajo, Valeriano Gómez, aseguró ayer que el texto presentado por la CEOE a los sindicatos el lunes pasado, en el que volvía a una posición de máximos respecto a la reforma del sistema de convenios colectivos sin tener en cuenta lo negociado previamente, "no permitía alcanzar un acuerdo".
