El seleccionador español de fútbol, Vicente del Bosque, ha ampliado su contrato dos años hasta 2012, según informó el miércoles la Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF).
"La decisión ha sido tomada por unanimidad de la Junta Directiva de la RFEF", manifestó el presidente de la entidad, Ángel María Villar, en declaraciones publicadas en su página en Internet (www.rfef.es).
"Contamos con un gran entrenador", agregó.
Del Bosque, que cumplió 59 años el mismo miércoles, reemplazó en el cargo a Luis Aragonés después de que España conquistara la Eurocopa 2008 y ha guiado al equipo durante la eliminatoria para el Mundial de Sudáfrica 2010, donde "la roja" ha ganado los 10 partidos que disputaron.
