Los Mossos d'Esquadra detuvieron este lunes por la mañana a un expolicía municipal de Girona como presunto autor de la muerte de su cuñada y de las heridas de gravedad infligidas a su esposa en una casa de una urbanización de Caldes de Malavella.
Según informaron fuentes próximas a la investigación, al parecer el detenido mató a su cuñada —la esposa de su hermano— cortándole el cuello en el domicilio de ésta, donde también hirió con un cuchillo a su esposa, con la que podría estar en trámites de separación.
La víctima mortal tenía dos hijos menores. La esposa, que fue trasladada al hospital Santa Caterina de Girona con heridas de cuchillo, está vinculada laboralmente con el Ayuntamiento de Girona.
Según las mismas fuentes, el detenido, de unos 50 años, hace varios años que dejó la policía municipal de Girona.
Los cuerpos de las dos mujeres fueron encontrados sobre las 09.00 horas de la mañana en la casa de la urbanización 'Llac del Cignes' donde vivía la fallecida. Inmediatamente se desplazaron al lugar agentes de policía y los servicios de emergencia médica, que trasladaron a la herida al hospital.
Se han hecho cargo de la investigación agentes del Área de Investigación Criminal de los Mossos d'Esquadra de Girona.
Todavía se está a la espera de la llegada de la comitiva judicial para proceder al levantamiento del cadáver, mientras que la policía científica ha comenzado sus pesquisas tratando de reconstruir las últimas horas de las dos mujeres y buscando huellas y testimonios en el lugar.
