El euríbor, el indicador más utilizado para el cálculo de hipotecas, volvió a marcar hoy en su negociación diaria un nuevo mínimo intradía al situarse en el 1,324 por ciento, con lo que registra ya nueve jornadas consecutivas de bajadas.
Así, la media provisional de agosto se sitúa en el 1,342 por ciento, la más baja en sus diez años de historia.
A falta de seis sesiones para que termine el mes, esta tasa provocará rebajas de hasta 3.800 euros al año (315 euros mensuales) en las cuotas de los préstamos suscritos hace un año que se revisen el mes que viene.
El euríbor, además, se acerca cada día más a los tipos oficiales del Banco Central Europeo (BCE), actualmente en el 1 por ciento.
Los expertos prevén que el regulador europeo dejará su tasa rectora en el 1 por ciento hasta mediados de 2010, siempre y cuando la evolución de los precios no aconseje lo contrario.
El indicador suma diez meses seguidos de descensos que comenzaron en octubre, coincidiendo con la caída de la firma de banca privada estadounidense Lehman Brothers y el cambio de la política monetaria por parte del BCE.
