Dos ancianas han fallecido esta mañana al incendiarse sus viviendas en Alcanar (Tarragona) y Ripollet (Barcelona), según han informado los Bomberos de la Generalitat.
La primera víctima mortal es Simone V., de 89 años, que ha muerto por inhalación de humo por el incendio que hacia las 10.00 horas de la mañana ha quemado parcialmente su casa, una vivienda de una sola planta situada en la calle Font del Fumat de Alcanar (Tarragona).
El incendio de esta casa ha podido ser apagado por los Bomberos en poco menos de media hora, aunque cuando los Bomberos han accedido al interior de la vivienda han encontrado el cadáver de la mujer.
La otra víctima mortal es una mujer de avanzada edad y con movilidad reducida que ha sido hallada sin vida en el interior de su piso incendiado, un ático situado en el número 12-14 la calle Maragall de Ripollet.
Según las mismas fuentes, los Mossos d'Esquadra han abierto una investigación para determinar el origen del fuego y la causa de su muerte, pese a que todo apunta en principio a que el deceso se ha producido también por inhalación de humo.
El incendio, que se ha iniciado hacia las 11.20 horas de la mañana, ha quemado el comedor del ático primera del piso en el que vivía la anciana -cuya identidad aún se desconoce-, aunque toda la casa ha quedado afectada por las altas temperaturas y el humo, lo que habría provocado la muerte de la mujer, que tenía la movilidad reducida.
