El veterano base barcelonés y capitán del Alta Gestión Fuenlabrada, Ferrán López, podrá participar en el partido del domingo en el campo del Ricoh Manresa, de la decimotercera jornada de la Liga ACB.
Ferrán López ha superado una contusión traumática en la cápsula que cubre el nudillo del dedo meñique de la mano izquierda y que le impidió jugar en el anterior compromiso liguero del club madrileño.
El jugador, tras entrenarse a buen nivel y no resentirse de su lesión desde el pasado lunes, ha tomado hoy, en consenso con el cuerpo técnico y el equipo médico, la decisión de reaparecer ante un rival directo por la permanencia en un principio, y a estas alturas de la primera vuelta, hasta por una plaza en la próxima edición de la Copa del Rey.
Ferrán López, en su segunda etapa en la entidad fuenlabreña que abarca, con la actual, cinco temporadas, sólo se ha perdido seis partidos de un total de 155 disputados por su club.
El base, de 37 años recién cumplidos, podría estar, además, viviendo su última temporada como jugador profesional, tras aquel lejano debut que se produjo en la campaña 89-90 cuando aún formaba parte de la prolífica cantera del Joventut de Badalona.
En total, 19 temporadas, de las que nueve ha militado en el Fuenlabrada, según sus propias palabras, "mi casa, mi club, el equipo del que primero preguntaré el resultado cuando tenga 50 años y, quizás, esté alejado del mundillo del baloncesto".
