General Motors (GM) Europa reducirá la producción y la jornada laboral de sus empleados un 20 por ciento en todas sus plantas en 2009 para afrontar la caída del mercado y sus dificultades financieras, marcadas por la necesidad inminente de 595 millones de euros para garantizar su liquidez.
Así lo anunció hoy el secretario general de UGT en la planta de GM en Figueruelas (Zaragoza) y único representante español en el Comité de Empresa europeo, Pedro Bona, quien explicó que el fabricante automovilístico se ha marcado como objetivo reducir un 10 por ciento los costes estructurales.
