Representantes del Gobierno central, de la Generalitat, de la Confederación Hidrográfica del Ebro (CHE) y de los regantes se reúnen esta tarde en Zaragoza para estudiar la compra de derechos de agua a los regantes de esta cuenca.
La reunión comenzará a las 17.30 horas en la sede de la CHE en la capital aragonesa, según han informado a Efe fuentes de los regantes, que se oponen a la venta de derechos de agua, al igual que el Gobierno de Aragón.
El presidente de la Federación de Comunidades de Regantes de la Cuenca del Ebro, César Trillo, dijo anoche a Efe que no negociarán con las instituciones catalanas la venta de cesión de derechos hídricos ni "mercadeará" con el agua a cambio de recursos económicos.
Por su parte, el Gobierno de Aragón anunció ayer en un comunicado que "no acepta en ningún caso y por lo tanto se opone a que se puedan comprar derechos de agua a regantes u otros concesionarios de derechos de la cuenca del Ebro para que después sean aprovechados fuera de la citada cuenca".
Esta posición ha sido comunicada al Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, Medio Rural y Marino del Gobierno de España y a la Generalitat de Cataluña.
