La editorial Hércules Astur ha presentado hoy en la Feria Internacional del libro de Guadalajara (México) su colección dedicada a los Artistas Asturianos, una obra que reúne a cerca de 500 creadores del Principado en diez volúmenes.
Según ha informado la editorial, que participa en la Feria dentro del stand del Gremio de Editores de Asturias, de los diez tomos de la obra, siete están dedicados a la pintura, dos a la escultura y uno a la arquitectura, y suponen la recopilación más minuciosa realizada hasta ahora de la evolución artística de Asturias.
Medio centenar de profesionales han participado en la elaboración de la serie y en conjunto han sido analizadas de forma monográfica las trayectorias artísticas de 150 creadores nacidos en Asturias a la vez que aparecen reseñadas las de otros 350 artistas.
La XXII Feria Internacional del Libro (FIL), el mayor encuentro del mundo editorial en español, fue inaugurada el sábado con la entrega del Premio Literatura en Lenguas Romances 2008 al portugués Antonio Lobo Antunes y las primeras actividades de Italia como país invitado.
La cita promete nueve días de actividad literaria con un homenaje al escritor mexicano Carlos Fuentes por sus 80 años, la presencia de leyendas literarias de la talla del Premio Nobel colombiano Gabriel García Márquez y las charlas impartidas por escritores de actualidad.
