La Asociación de Fútbol inglesa dijo que se quejará a la FIFA por los insultos racistas querecibieron los jugadores ingleses por parte de los aficionados croatas durante el partido de clasificación para elMundial 2010 disputado el miércoles en Zagreb que ganaron los ingleses por 4-1.
"Podemos confirmar que vamos a hacer un informe a la FIFA sobre los cánticos racistas contra Emile Heskey porparte de algunos aficionados croatas durante el partido de Zagreb", dijo un comunicado de la FA el jueves.
"Es inaceptable para cualquier ser víctima de insultos racistas y pediremos a la FIFA que lo investigue. La FA y elequipo de Inglaterra están determinados a hacer todo lo que puedan para erradicar el racismo del fútbol y de lasociedad".
El delantero Heskey fue objeto de cánticos que imitaban los sonidos de los monos durante la abultada victoriainglesa en el Grupo 6.
"Tienes que dejar que la gente de arriba trate con ello", dijo Heskey citado por los periódicos británicos hanpadecido insultos racistas antes cuando han jugado en Europa.
