La Junta de Andalucía cree que el acuerdo para la fusión entre Unicaja y Cajasur está "próximo", ya que las posturas de las dos cajas de ahorro andaluzas están "muy cercanas", según han informado hoy a Efe fuentes del Gobierno autonómico.
Representantes de Unicaja, la primera entidad financiera de Andalucía, y la cordobesa CajaSur han vuelto a reunirse hoy para estudiar su posible fusión, según han informado a Efe fuentes del sector de las cajas de ahorros.
Este encuentro sigue a otros que con carácter discreto se han producido en los últimos días, aunque no se haya reconocido de forma oficial, entre ellos uno de alto nivel el pasado jueves entre ambas entidades en el que, al parecer, surgieron algunas diferencias, han indicado las fuentes.
La reunión de hoy se ha celebrado dos días antes del Consejo de Administración que tiene previsto celebrar CajaSur el próximo miércoles, en cuyo orden del día no figura este asunto.
Estos contactos se producen después de que los presidentes de Unicaja y Caja de Jaén, Braulio Medel y José Antonio Arcos, respectivamente, anunciaran el 13 de julio que presentarán en sus consejos de administración una propuesta de fusión y dejarán abierta la incorporación de otras entidades.
El Consejo de Administración de Unicaja abordó el pasado viernes las conversaciones de esta entidad para su fusión con Caja de Jaén, aunque no trató una propuesta definida, y también habló de CajaSur "en líneas generales".
