El presidente del FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, ha asegurado que si dependiera exclusivamente de su decisión, los azulgrana no ficharían a nadie, aunque después aclaró que "siempre se tiene que tener en cuenta la opinión de los técnicos que son los que saben".
Durante la presentación del convenio entre la ECA, la Asociación Europea de Clubes, y la UNESCO para instaurar cláusulas antirracistas en los nuevos contratos de futbolistas, Laporta volvió a transmitir un mensaje de tranquilidad al barcelonismo, a pesar de que el equipo azulgrana no ha concretado fichaje alguno.
"Si de mí dependiera, no ficharíamos a nadie. Estoy tritranquilo. Tenemos un equipo consolidado, pero siempre hay que tener en cuenta la opinión de los técnicos, que son los que saben", ha insistido.
Laporta no quiso pronunciarse sobre el posible fichaje de Filipe Luis, del Deportivo, la operación que parece más avanzada de las que tiene en marcha el club catalán, ni tampoco sobre la posibilidad de fichar al internacional español David Villa.
El dirigente tampoco se refirió a la situación institucional del Valencia y si con la llegada de Vicente Soriano al poder variará el panorama para fichar a Villa.
