La aerolínea alemana Lufthansa ha llegado a un acuerdo para la adquisición de la belga Brussels Airlines después de varias semanas de negociaciones, según la cadena de radio pública flamenca VRT, que cita a una fuente anónima.
Las compañías no han confirmado la información, pero el presidente de SN Airholding -la sociedad dueña de Brussels Airlines-, Etienne Davignon, y el director ejecutivo del grupo Lufthansa, Wolfgang Mayrhuber, tienen planeada una rueda de prensa esta tarde.
La aerolínea belga experimentaba dificultades por los elevados precios del carburante, por lo que buscaba un comprador.
