El presidente de CiU, Artur Mas, ha acusado hoy al presidente de la Generalitat, José Montilla, de estar "muy paralizado" frente a una posible sentencia contra el Estatut del Tribunal Constitucional (TC) debido a su "dependencia" del PSOE.
En declaraciones a la Cadena Ser recogidas por Efe, Mas ha vuelto a reclamar a Montilla que convoque a los líderes políticos catalanes para que empiecen a preparar una respuesta unitaria a un hipotético recorte del Estatut a manos del TC y emitir un "mensaje de consenso y unidad".
"Montilla va hablando mucho de las posibles consecuencias de un recorte, pero no hace nada", ha denunciado.
Según Mas, el presidente catalán "seguramente no sabe qué hacer, seguramente se ve muy atrapado por su dependencia del PSOE".
Por otra parte, Mas ha recalcado que "el problema no es si acatar la sentencia o no" desde Cataluña: "Éste es un debate que en Madrid interesa mucho para ver hasta qué punto los catalanes vamos a obedecer".
"Pero el problema está en si el pueblo y las instituciones catalanes se conforman con el techo de autogobierno que marque el TC. Rotundamente no. Los catalanes mayoritariamente no vamos a aceptar que el techo de nuestro autogobierno sea el que nos marque una eventual sentencia del TC. Vamos a reaccionar ante un eventual recorte", ha avanzado.
