La morosidad de los créditos concedidos por los bancos, cajas y cooperativas que operan en España a empresas y particulares alcanzó el 4,563% en mayo, un nivel al que no llegaba desde mayo de 1996, exactamente trece años antes.
Según los datos publicados este viernes por el Banco de España, la tasa de mora sigue subiendo, pero cada vez menos, ya que la de mayo supera en 0,143 puntos al 4,420% registrado en abril, que a su vez era un cuarto de punto más alta que la correspondiente a marzo, que se situó en el 4,171%.
En términos interanuales, el 'salto' de este indicador es mucho mayor, ya que la tasa de mayo triplica al porcentaje de créditos morosos del 1,459% que el sistema soportaba en mayo de 2008.
Si hablamos de cifras absolutas, la morosidad crediticia de mayo significa que el saldo total de créditos dudosos que tenían concedidos bancos, cajas y cooperativas de crédito sumaba 81.700 millones de euros, frente a los 79.017 millones de abril, lo que implica un incremento de 2.683 millones, más suave que el 'salto' de 4.313 millones de abril respecto a marzo.
