Catorce personas han muerto en los 12 accidentes de tráfico ocurridos en las carreteras españolas durante el pasado fin de semana, ha informado hoy la Dirección General de Tráfico.
En los siniestros registrados entre las 15:00 horas del pasado viernes y las 24:00 horas de ayer, domingo, otras 15 personas han resultado heridas graves y 3 leves.
El viernes no se registraron accidentes mortales mientras que el sábado se contabilizaron 6 siniestros con 7 fallecidos, 7 heridos graves y 2 leves.
Ayer, domingo, 7 personas perdieron la vida, 8 sufrieron heridas graves y 1 de carácter leve en 6 accidentes.
Tres de los fallecidos en el fin de semana eran motoristas mientras que de los 12 accidentes, 8 han sido colisiones y 4 salidas de la vía.
En lo que va de año, han fallecido en accidentes en la carretera 456 personas, 44 menos que hasta las mismas fecha de 2008, lo que representa un descenso del 8 por ciento.
