El Mundo Today ha vuelto a hacerlo: ha hecho pasar por verdadera una noticia falsa. En esta ocasión ha sido Javier Solana, exministro socialista y ex secretario general de la OTAN entre otros cargos, quien ha caido en la trampa de esta web humorística, conocida por inventarse noticias absurdas pero dándoles una pátina de realidad.
Este martes por la mañana Javier Solana tuiteó una noticia ciertamente llamativa: 'Denuncian la desaparición de un adolescente que lleva una hora sin tuitear'. Solana ponía un enlace al canal de noticia de MSN, donde él había visto la noticia.
Pero una vez que se pinchaba el enlace dos cosas llamaban la atención : una, que al lado del titular aparecía el logo de El Mundo Today; otra, que la noticia llevaba fecha del 4 de enero.
Solana no debió darse cuenta de esos dos detalles, porque minutos después lanzaba otro tuit: 'Parece que ya le han encontrado'.
Numerosso tuiteros le han recordado que lo qué es El Mundo Today. '¡Ay,dios! ¿No conoces El Mundo Today? Pues ya han caído más de 2!! ¡Vénte pá España Javier!', le escribía una usuaria de Twitter.
