El lehendakari, Patxi López, reapareció ayer después de una semana convaleciente con un órdago al Ejecutivo de Zapatero por la transferencia de las políticas activas de empleo: 'Si el PNV o el Gobierno de España intentan entorpecerla, nos tendrán enfrente'.
El lehendakari, que ha prometido que Euskadi tendrá esa competencia el 1 de enero, abrió su primer frente público con Madrid tras haber trascendido una cláusula secreta del acuerdo alcanzado entre el Gobierno de Zapatero y el PNV para la aprobación de los Presupuestos Generales del Estado. En concreto, dicho pacto establece que, si se produjera la transferencia de las políticas activas de empleo antes del 20 de septiembre de 2010, deberá tener el visto bueno del PNV.
Patxi López afirmó sentirse 'perjudicado' por dicho pacto, rubricado hace más de un mes, y acusó al PNV de pretender con ello obstaculizar la negociación para que el Gobierno vasco no pueda cumplir su compromiso de gestionar esta competencia a partir del 1 de enero.
Tras conocer la declaración del lehendakari, el presidente del PNV, Iñigo Urkullu, emitió un comunicado en el que le acusa de 'mentir'. 'Sabía por qué y en qué términos estaba negociando en Madrid esta transferencia el PNV', dijo Urkullu, quien añadió que López intenta 'extender una cortina de humo' para 'tapar su ineficacia' ante las dificultades para poder cumplir su compromiso sobre esta transferencia.
El portavoz socialista en el Congreso, José Antonio Alonso, que firmó el acuerdo con el PNV, trató de tranquilizar a Patxi López al señalar que esperaba que el traspaso 'sea lo antes posible si satisface a todos'. Hoy se reunirá de nuevo en Madrid la comisión técnica que estudia la entrega de las políticas activas de empleo a Euskadi.
