El Banco Popular ha comunicado a la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) que mantiene "conversaciones con los accionistas de referencia" de Inmobiliaria Colonial y sus financiadores para hacer posible el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones y no descarta convertirse en accionista de la compañía.
Según la nota enviada al regulador español, las conversaciones pretenden la viabilidad de la compañía "en el largo plazo", al tiempo que buscan tratar de conciliar todos los intereses de las partes intervinientes.
Estas conversaciones se realizan "como actuación habitual en la gestión del riesgo de crédito" y se comunican ante "las distintas informaciones aparecidas en la prensa" sobre el asunto.
"Entre las alternativas que se plantean cabe la de convertirse en accionista de la compañía", pero "hasta este momento no se tomado ninguna decisión en este sentido", se destaca.
La CNMV ha suspendido cautelarmente esta mañana la cotización en Bolsa de las acciones de Inmobiliaria Colonial hasta que se haga pública una "información relevante" sobre la entidad.
