Algeciras (Cádiz) 6 jul (EFE).- Salvamento Marítimo ha iniciado esta mañana el rescate de una patera con 17 inmigrantes a bordo, entre ellos un niño de 3 ó 4 años, que ha sido detectada por el SIVE y por el Servicio de Vigilancia de la Guardia Civil cuando navegaba a 10 millas al oeste de Tarifa (Cádiz).
Fuentes de la Subdelegación del Gobierno han informado a Efe de que un pesquero que se encontraba por la zona, el 'Nueva Julia', también dio el aviso sobre las 7,55 horas e informó de que la embarcación navegaba despacio hacia Barbate (Cádiz).
Al rescate han acudido la 'Salvamar Alkaid' y dos patrulleras de la Guardia Civil y está previsto que los 17 inmigrantes -todos subsaharianos- lleguen al puerto de Tarifa sobre las 10.00 horas para ser atendidos por los servicios sanitarios, aunque las fuentes precisaron que, aparentemente, se encuentran en buen estado de salud.
De los ocupantes de la embarcación doce son varones, cuatro mujeres y un menor de unos 3 a 4 años.
