La Real Federación Española de Fútbol ha decretado la suspensión del partido de la Liga de Segunda División que debía jugarse el domingo entre el Real Betis y el Villarreal B debido a una epidemia de gripe A que afecta a una docena de miembros del plantel bético.
El Betis solicitó ayer formalmente el aplazamiento de dicho encuentro debido a que tenía a 17 jugadores indisponibles, ya que además de los afectados por la gripe cuenta que con algunos lesionados más, y la RFEF le ha comunicado hoy por teléfono su decisión al respecto.
La Federación aún no ha propuesto fecha alternativa pero fuentes del Betis han asegurado que es probable que éste se juegue el 11 de noviembre, ya que hay jornada prevista de Copa del Rey, competición de la que los béticos están eliminados y que el Villarreal B no disputa por su condición de equipo filial.
