El futbolista brasileño Robinho debutará el sábado con la camiseta delManchester City, en la Liga Premier, ante el Chelsea, dijo el jueves el técnico del club, Mark Hughes.
Robinho que todavía no se ha entrenado con su nuevo equipo, desde su salida del Real Madrid, por la cifra récordde 32,5 millones de libras esterlinas (40 millones de euros) a finales de agosto, debido a sus compromisos con laselección de Brasil.
El futbolista viajó al Reino Unido tras el empate a cero del miércoles entre Brasil y Bolivia de clasificación parael Mundial de Sudáfrica 2010.
"La intención es que esté (el sábado)", dijo Hughes a los periodistas.
"La impresión que creo todos tienen de Robinho cuando le ven jugar es que en cuanto tenga contacto con el balónes que algo importante va a pasar", destacó.
Robinho estuvo cerca de pasar al Chelsea, pero la inyección de capital de un grupo económico con sede en AbuDabi al City hizo posible su llegada al equipo.
"El día que le conocí en Londres, una de las primeras cosas que dijo es que no podía esperar a jugar este partidopara enfrentar al Chelsea, eso es un buen signo", contó Hughes.
"Esperamos que se adapte rápido y que sus compañeros brasileños (Jo y Elano) le hagan más fácil el proceso",agregó.*.
