La vicepresidenta segunda del Gobierno y ministra de Economía y Hacienda, Elena Salgado, comparecerá el 12 de agosto en el Congreso para explicar el nuevo modelo de financiación autonómica, aprobado en el Consejo de Política Fiscal y Financiera el 15 de julio, han informado hoy a EFE fuentes socialistas.
De hecho, la dirección del grupo parlamentario del PSOE en la Cámara Baja ha decidido proponer mañana, en la reunión de la Diputación Permanente del Congreso, la comparecencia de Salgado en la Comisión de Economía y Hacienda para el 12 de agosto.
Salgado solicitó la semana pasada comparecer a petición propia para informar del acuerdo, que fue secundado por todas las comunidades autónomas gobernadas por el PSOE, así como por Canarias, Cantabria y Ceuta, y contó con la abstención de las del PP.
También los grupos popular, catalán y vasco han reclamado la comparecencia de la vicepresidenta segunda, con el objetivo de conocer la cantidad adjudicada a las comunidades autónomas con el nuevo modelo.
Las mismas fuentes han explicado a EFE que Salgado aprovechará su comparecencia para remarcar las tres líneas principales que a su juicio conforman el nuevo sistema de financiación autonómica: igualdad, equidad y estabilidad.
Con datos en la mano, la titular de Hacienda detallará por qué todos los ciudadanos, con independencia del territorio en el que vivan, van a disponer de la misma cantidad para acceder a los servicios públicos, a los que se destinarán cuatro de cada cinco euros, han señalado las fuentes.
Respecto a la equidad, Salgado pondrá el acento en por qué el nuevo modelo se acerca más a la media de financiación per cápita y reduce las desigualdades que existen ahora entre las autonomías.
Nacido con "vocación de permanencia", el acuerdo establece cuatro fondos, tres de ellos de nueva creación.
