Los líderes autonómicos del PP dieron un portazo al pacto anticrisis que les ofreció Zapatero en la Conferencia de Presidentes hace tan sólo unas semanas. Pero, desde que escucharon el mensaje del rey –pidiendo a los partidos unidad en los temas de Estado–, a los conservadores se les llena la boca reclamándolo.
La primera reacción fue la del vicesecretario de Comunicación, Esteban González Pons. “Con nosotros se puede contar”, señaló. Ayer le llegó el turno al responsable de Política Territorial, Javier Arenas. El también líder del PP de Andalucía declaró que su partido está dispuesto “a tender la mano para que todos juntos intentemos un gran pacto político y social contra la crisis y a favor del empleo”.
Pero, tras las buenas intenciones, arreciaron las críticas. Arenas lamentó que hasta ahora, y a su juicio, el Gobierno socialista haya preferido “acuerdos de fotos, sin contenido”. Por eso manifestó que “el Gobierno español ya no tiene credibilidad para ofrecer confianza” y que eso hay que sustituirlo por “un gran acuerdo de todas las fuerzas políticas y sociales”. Además, dijo que si no había “liquidez y financiación para PYMEs y autónomos” habría que dar por “perdida” la recuperación para 2010.
En referencia a si Gerardo Díaz Ferrán debe seguir al frente de la Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales (CEOE) tras lo ocurrido con Air Comet, Arenas prefirió no pronunciarse. Alegó que “los políticos deben de abstenerse de influir en las decisiones internas de sindicatos y empresarios”, porque eso sería “faltar al respeto a las organizaciones sociales y su independencia”.
Por otro lado, la secretaria general del PP, María Dolores de Cospedal, criticó la tardanza del Tribunal Constitucional en resolver el recurso del Estatut y concluyó que sería porque “su constitucionalidad no está clara”. En una entrevista con Europa Press, Cospedal dijo que compartía el axioma de que una Justicia lenta puede dejar de ser Justicia.
