El mundo mañana. Ese será el nombre del programa televisivo que dirigirá Julian Assange según anunció ayer en un comunicado WikiLeaks.
El fundador de la organización se encargará de realizar una serie de entrevistas a 'personajes políticos clave, pensadores y revolucionarios en todo el mundo'.
'En este programa exploraré las posibilidades de nuestro futuro conversando con las personas que lo están moldeando. ¿Estamos caminando hacia la utopía o la distopía, y cómo podemos escoger nuestro camino?', dijo el australiano.
'Es una oportunidad interesante para discutir el punto de vista de mis invitados en un formato con un estilo completamente novedoso que examinará su filosofía y problemas de una manera mucho más clara de lo que se ha hecho hasta ahora', sentenció.
Según WikiLeaks, la emisión empezará a mediados de marzo y constará de diez capítulos de media hora cada semana. El comunicado no especificó la cadena o cadenas que albergarán el programa pero sí asegura que podrá ser visionado por 600 millones de espectadores por cable, TDT y satélite.
El fundador de WikiLeaks se encuentra a la espera de que el Tribunal Supremo británico decida sobre su recurso contra la petición de extradición de la Fiscalía sueca en el supuesto caso de abuso sexuales del que está acusado.
