La Consejería de Justicia de la Junta de Andalucía presentará este martes su mapa oficial de fosas comunes de la Guerra Civil y la primera posguerra, con un total de 614 enterramientos. Es el dato con el que la consejería cierra su recopilación, pero difícilmente será exacto. En muchos lugares considerados fosas no se han hecho comprobaciones sobre el terreno, sino que se cree que hay enterramientos por testimonios. Igualmente, habrá fosas que no estén incluidas en el mapa, por desconocimiento. Será, eso sí, una aproximación fidedigna.
Sevilla, con 130 fosas, es la provincia con más fosas detectadas, por delante de Huelva (120), Cádiz (100), Granada (86), Málaga (76), Córdoba (69), Jaén (24) y Almería (9).
La Consejería de Justicia ha completado el mapa en colaboración con las asociaciones de memoria histórica andaluzas y las universidades.
Con su publicación, el Gobierno Andaluz cumple con el artículo 12.2 de la Ley de Memoria Histórica, que señala que las administraciones públicas elaborarán mapas con las fosas. Catalunya, Asturias y País Vasco ya lo han hecho.
La mayor fosa andaluza, la de San Rafael, en Málaga, ya fue excavada este año. De la misma fueron exhumados restos de 2.840 personas.
Según el documento de síntesis del estudio sobre represión que están realizando 32 investigadores de ocho universidades, en Andalucía fueron fusiladas por la represión franquista 50.093 personas, mientras que los republicanos fusilaron a 8.083. Son también cifras aproximativas.
