La huelga del transporte y el propio paro del sector pesquero dejaron sin actividad alguno los puertos cantábricos de Lugo ubicados en Celeiro y Burela, según informaron hoy a Efe fuentes de ambas cofradías.
"No se vendió ni un solo kilo de pescado", resumió un portavoz de Armadores de Burela (ABSA), quien no ocultó que el desabastecimiento de pescado puede ser "un hecho" en pocas horas.
En Burela está toda la flota amarrada y tan solo se espera la llegada a puerto de 3 barcos que faenan en el caladero del Gran Sol.
Los tres navegan ya con rumbo de regreso y uno tiene previsto hacerlo esta tarde y los otros dos mañana.
Desde Porto Celeiro también confirmaron la "completa" inactividad de la lonja, con toda la flota "amarrada a puerto", excepto 9 barcos que se encuentran en Gran Sol (arrastreros y pincho), que tienen prevista su entrada en puerto entre hoy y mañana, en tanto que la flota de bajura también está completamente parada.
Por otra parte, el presidente de la Plataforma para la Defensa del Sector Pesquero, Francisco Fernández, avanzó a Efe que estudian el inicio de acciones legales por la carga policial que se produjo en Vigo la semana pasada, en la que se registraron tres heridos, cuando un grupo de manifestantes intentó boicotear un acto en el que participaba la ministra de Agricultura, y Medio Rural y Marino, Elena Espinosa, y el presidente de la Xunta, Emilio Pérez Touriño.
