Varios altos mandos del cuerpo de elite de los Guardianes de la Revolución han perdido la vida en un atentado suicida perpetrado en la conflictiva provincia meridional de Sistán-Baluchistán, fronteriza con Afganistán, que ha causado al menos sesenta víctimas entre muertos y heridos.
Según la agencia oficial de noticias local Irna, entre los fallecidos se encuentra el subcomandante de la Fuerza Terrestre del citado cuerpo, general Nur Ali Shushtarí, además de otros oficiales de los Sepah Pasdarán (Guardia Revolucionaria).
