El alemán Heinrich Haussler (Cervélo) se ha puesto en cabeza de la clasificación mundial de la UCI, por delante del español Alberto Contador, reciente vencedor de la Vuelta al País Vasco.
Hausslerm, segundo en la Milán San Remo y en el Tour de Flandes, y séptimo en la París-Roubaix, ha desplazado al frente de la clasificación al australiano Allan Davis, quien retrocede dos plazas.
Alberto Contador figura segundo, a 9 puntos de Haussler, y la cuarta plaza es para Luis León Sánchez, a 28 puntos del primer clasificado.
