El español Jaime Alguersuari, confirmado hoy como piloto titular del equipo Toro Rosso en el Mundial de Fórmula Uno del 2010, declaró que "el mejor Jaime llegará este año".
"Me pidieron que debutara en la Fórmula Uno apenas cumplidos los 19 años y no lo dudé. Hoy me piden que dispute el Mundial del 2010 y es la mejor noticia que me han dado en la vida porque ahora estoy preparado física, mental y emocionalmente", dijo a Efe.
"Ahora tengo kilómetros de experiencia en Fórmula Uno, ocho grandes premios disputados, y la carrera de Bahrein, primera del año (14 de marzo) , será muy diferente a la de Hungría (del 2009, en la que debutó), aunque tenga la misma edad", agregó.
"Mi mensaje a la afición, a mis amigos, a mi familias y a mis jefes en el equipo Red Bull es este: 'el mejor Jaime llegará este año'", señaló.
Alguersuari añadió que se siente "un empleado más en la compañía Red Bull; un eslabón más en la cadena que va desde el que fabrica el contenido de las latas, asta los deportistas que representamos a la compañía por el mundo".
