Actualizado:
América Latina tendrá un año mejor que lo previsto, con un crecimiento del 3,7 por ciento, gracias a que la recuperación en Brasil y México es más fuerte que lo anticipado, dijo hoy el Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI).
El Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) de Brasil avanzará un 4,7 por ciento este año, lo que supone una gran revisión al alza frente al 3,5 por ciento augurado por el FMI en octubre.
México, por su parte, crecerá un 4 por ciento este año -siete décimas más que lo calculado anteriormente-, tras sufrir una profunda recesión que eliminó el 6,8 por ciento de su PIB el año pasado.
