El cuartel de la policía del barrio ateniense de Koridalos fue objeto hoy de un atentado con una granada de mano y disparos que no ocasionaron víctimas, informó hoy la policía a Efe.
El suceso ocurrió entorno a las cuatro de la madrugada cuando tres individuos que iban a pie dispararon repetidamente contra la garita exterior en que se encontraba un agente de guardia.
Al retirarse, arrojaron una granada que no explosionó.
Los peritos de la policía hicieron una investigación en el lugar de los hechos y encontraron diversos casquillos de un arma de calibre de nueve milímetros, según informaron los medios griegos.
La prensa griega digital informó de que el grupo terrorista griego "Lucha Revolucionaria" se atribuyó el atentado con una llamada telefónica al grupo editorial DOL.
La policía de Atenas no confirmó a Efe esa información.
El atentado de hoy fue perpetrado en el barrio de Koridalos en el que se encuentran cumpliendo sentencias de cadena perpetua y de muchos años de encarcelamiento el núcleo de la organización terrorista griega "17 de noviembre", responsable de asesinatos y atentados durante 30 años.
"Lucha Revolucionaria" está considerada como la nueva generación de terroristas antisistema y viene actuando desde 2003, con ataques armados y con explosivos contra objetivos gubernamentales. Es responsable de un atentado con basuka contra la embajada de EEUU en Atenas en 2007 con daños materiales.
La organización se atribuyó en un comunicado dos atentados contra policías el pasado diciembre, sin heridos, durante los graves disturbios surgidos tras la muerte de un adolescente por un policía en Atenas, y uno en enero que dejó gravemente herido a un agente en Atenas.
