Cuatro provincias (Badajoz, Córdoba, Sevilla y Jaén) volverán hoy a alcanzar los 40 grados, y están por ello avisadas del riesgo "naranja" (riesgo importante) por la red nacional de vigilancia meteorológica.
Además de esas cuatro, otras nueve provincias y cinco islas canarias se encuentran en riesgo "amarillo" (riesgo bajo) por las elevadas temperaturas que se van a registrar, y en cuatro provincias más (Castellón, Valencia, Alicante y Murcia) el nivel de riesgo, también amarillo, se debe a las tormentas que se van a producir.
Según los datos recopilados en la Agencia Estatal de Meteorología, las altas temperaturas previstas en Badajoz, Sevilla, Córdoba y Jaén se repetirán también mañana.
El nivel "amarillo" de riesgo corresponde a las provincias de Guadalajara (donde los termómetros alcanzarán los 36 grados), Madrid (hasta 38), Cuenca (36), Toledo (38), Albacete (38), Ciudad Real (38), Granada (38), Málaga (38), y Cádiz (38).
En el mismo nivel se encuentran las islas canarias de Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife y La Gomera, en las que las temperaturas subirán hasta 34 grados.
La red meteorológica española "Meteoalerta" incorporó al sistema español la misma metodología europea sobre la vigilancia de los fenómenos adversos, e incorporó para ello cuatro niveles (verde, amarillo, naranja y rojo) de acuerdo con umbrales específicos en cada zona.
