El Caja Laboral disputa el domingo un nuevo choque vasco en la ACB con la visita a la pista del Bizkaia Bilbao Basket, en un partido de máxima rivalidad regional en cuyos precedentes los vitorianos se han llevado la victoria en once de catorce veces.
El Baskonia domina la balanza particular en los duelos con el Bizkaia Bilbao Basket por un resultado de 11-3, en los catorce duelos que les han enfrentado en ACB entre fase regular y eliminatorias por el título.
En el caso de que el Caja Laboral ganara a los bilbaínos en este encuentro el domingo por la mañana el balance mejoraría el conseguido por los vitorianos ante el antiguo Cajabilbao, al que superó por 11-4 en sus duelos de finales de los 80.
Los partidos ante el equipo que precedió al actual Bilbao Basket se produjeron entre la temporada 1986-87 y la 1990-91 cuando el Caja Bilbao era la referencia en la ACB en la capital vizcaína. Los quince duelos entre ambos equipos vascos se saldaron con claridad a favor de los baskonistas con once triunfos y sólo cuatro derrotas.
La rivalidad con el actual Bizkaia Bilbao Basket arranca en el año 2004-05 y los vitorianos también dominan los enfrentamientos particulares entre ambos.
Los vitorianos son también los claros dominadores en los choques entre equipos vascos en la ACB con resultados favorables ante todos los que han militado en la competición doméstica. Tras 35 partidos disputados su balance es de 27 triunfos y sólo 8 derrotas.
Ante Lagun Aro ha jugado en media docena de ocasiones con cinco victorias y sólo una derrota.
