Canarias, Murcia y La Rioja han sido las comunidades autónomas con mayor gasto farmacéutico en octubre de este año respecto al mismo mes de 2007, con incrementos entre el 15 y el 10 por ciento, muy superiores a la media nacional que ha sido del 6,69 por ciento.
Según datos facilitados por el Ministerio de Sanidad, en octubre el gasto farmacéutico registrado en el conjunto de España fue de 1.042 millones de euros, un 6,69 por ciento más que en el mismo mes del año anterior.
Por autonomías, el mayor incremento se ha dado en Canarias (15,87 por ciento), seguido de Murcia (15,77) y La Rioja (10,16), además de las ciudades autónomas de Ceuta (15,85 por ciento) y Melilla (13,10 por ciento).
Por el contrario, las comunidades que han contabilizado un menor crecimiento en ese período han sido Baleares (3 por ciento), Madrid (3,98), Andalucía (4,34) y Aragón (4,85).
Respecto al gasto interanual, el mayor aumento ha correspondido a Murcia (8,74 por ciento), seguida de la Comunidad Valenciana (8,33 por ciento), además de las ciudades autónomas con aumentos del 12,75 en Melilla y del 8,45 en Ceuta.
El siguiente cuadro recoge, por comunidades autónomas, el gasto farmacéutico en el mes de octubre de este año y la variación porcentual respecto al mismo mes del año pasado así como el gasto acumulado interanual entre noviembre de 2007 y octubre de este año y la variación, en porcentaje, sobre el mismo período.
