La caravana informativa sobre las elecciones europeas del próximo 7 de junio arrancará hoy en Toledo, primera escala en su recorrido por dieciséis ciudades de quince Comunidades Autónomas para dar a conocer las labores del Parlamento Europeo.
La caravana, organizada por la Oficina del Parlamento Europeo de España, tiene como propósito concienciar a los ciudadanos sobre la importancia que tienen las elecciones europeas en su vida cotidiana, según un comunicado de esta institución.
El itinerario de la caravana comenzará en Toledo y continuará por Málaga, Murcia, Valencia, Teruel, Reus, Barcelona, Pamplona, Logroño, Bilbao, Santander, Oviedo, Vigo, Cáceres, Valladolid y Madrid.
El tráiler tiene la peculiaridad de que simula el hemiciclo de Estrasburgo, una de las dos sedes del Parlamento Europeo.
Se expondrá un vídeo que trasladará a los ciudadanos al año 2030 y mostrará cómo puede ser Europa en esa fecha gracias a su participación en las elecciones de este año.
También podrán dejar grabados sus mensajes respondiendo a la pregunta "¿Qué le pides a Europa?".
Esta caravana es una de las actividades puestas en marcha por el Parlamento Europeo con vistas a los próximos comicios, que también incluyen instalaciones en tres dimensiones y vallas publicitarias con el lema "Tú eliges".
