El presidente del Atlético de Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, dijo hoy que le parece "una tomadura de pelo" hablar del posible fichaje de Sergio Kun Agüero por el Barcelona y reconoció que para él "es impensable" gastarse 65 millones de euros por un jugador en alusión a la contratación de Kaká por el Real Madrid.
"El Kun tiene contrato con el Atlético por muchos años, no sé de dónde sacáis estas noticias. Ayer apareció un compañero vuestro con una camiseta del Barcelona y el nombre de Agüero, me parece una tomadura de pelo", declaró Cerezo a los medios de comunicación tras comparecer en la Subcomisión de Deporte Profesional del Congreso.
El presidente rojiblanco insistió en que "Agüero, Forlán, Maxi y Simao son jugadores del Atlético de Madrid". "Quien quiera comprarlo ya sabe lo que tiene que hacer, hablar con el jugador, si a él le interesa se irá o no y luego la cláusula y no hay más", añadió.
Cerezo, que se mostró convencido de que Agüero habló en tono de "broma" con el periodista argentino que le planteó su posible coincidencia en un equipo con Leo Messi, reiteró que "quien quiera ver al Kun y a Messi juntos tiene dos soluciones, en el Atlético de Madrid o en la selección argentina".
Preguntado por su opinión sobre el desembolso del Real Madrid para fichar al brasileño Kaká y su influencia en el mercado de fichajes, Cerezo dijo que "si lo han contratado será porque es un gran futbolista".
"No sé si romperá el mercado o no, pero nosotros hablar de 65 millones por un jugador es impensable. Nosotros dependemos de lo que los técnicos quieran traer y nos haga falta. Si vale mucho lo pensaremos y si está dentro de nuestras posibilidades lo ficharemos. Nosotros estamos a lo nuestro, pero no haremos ninguna locura ni noes meteremos en un lío del que no podamos salir", concluyó.
