China sigue estudiando invertir en España, pero aún no ha expresado ningún tipo de compromiso concreto. Así lo aseguran fuentes oficiales del Gobierno español consultadas por Público, que han asegurado que "las informaciones" que adjudicaban una inversión de más de 9.000 millones de euros en cajas españolas por parte de la Corporación de Inversiones China (CIC) "no son correctas".
"Se trata de un error de identificación", aseguran estas fuentes, que explican que "en el encuentro del presidente del Gobierno con representantes de instituciones inversoras chinas, se barajaron algunas cantidades", pero que "al tratarse de estudios preliminares, no es el momento de entrar aún en detalles".
La disponibilidad del Gobierno chino sigue existiendo, según el Ejecutivo español, que afirma que "las autoridades chinas han confirmado que algunos fondos de este país están estudiando inversiones en España". Fuentes del Gobierno insisten en que "hay más de un fondo" interesado en invertir en las cajas de ahorro españolas, pero se negaron a hablar de cifras concretas.
Además, según el Ejecutivo, "las autoridades chinas reafirman el anuncio del primer ministro, Wen Jiabao, de que seguirá comprando deuda española y de que se va a invertir en la reestructuración de las cajas de ahorro".
Este miércoles, el fondo soberano chino reveló la "disponibilidad" de 9.300 millones de euros para las cajas españolas, pero no expresó ningún tipo de compromiso concreto.
