La secretaria de Estado de EEUU, Condolezza Rice, abandonó hoy Seúl en dirección a Pekín después de una estancia en Corea del Sur de 20 horas centrada en la desnuclearización de Corea del Norte, informó la agencia Yonhap.
Rice se reunió durante ayer con el titular de Exteriores surcoreano Yu Myung-hwan y el presidente surcoreano Lee Myung-bak ante quienes insistió en que Corea del Norte debe abandonar todos sus programas, armas y materiales nucleares.
Rice, que ofreció una rueda de prensa tras su reunión con Yu, aseguró que el inventario nuclear que entregó Corea del Norte a los países del diálogo a seis hace tres días no sólo cubre el programa de plutonio sino que también se "refiere" al supuesto plan de enriquecimiento de uranio.
Sin embargo, Rice no aclaró hasta que punto Corea del Norte se refiere en su inventario al programa de enriquecimiento de uranio que EEUU acusa a Pyongyang de poseer.
