Un total de 33 provincias tendrán este jueves activados avisos de riesgo amarillo o naranja por vientos de más de 120 kilómetros por hora, fenómenos costeros y precipitaciones, según la Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEMET).
Concretamente, se espera riesgo por vientos en Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa, Gerona, Almería, Cáceres, Badajoz, Madrid, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Ciudad Real, Albacete, Álava y Toledo. Será de carácter importante en las zonas más altas en A Coruña, Lugo, Orense, Pontevedra, Asturias, Cantabria, Navarra, La Rioja, Lérida, y en las nueve provincias de Castilla y León, por vientos con rachas máximas de hasta 120 kilómetros por hora.
Por su parte, el aviso por lluvias se ha activado para Cáceres, ya que se esperan precipitaciones de hasta 40 litros por metro cuadrado en 12 horas.
En general, las precipitaciones serán localmente fuertes o persistentes en Galicia y norte de Extremadura y la cota de nieve descenderá al final del día hasta los 800 a 1.000 metros de altura en el cuadrante noroeste peninsular.
En el resto de la Península se prevén intervalos nubosos y podría caer alguna precipitación débil, salvo en el litoral del este y en Baleares, donde podrá estar poco nuboso. En Canarias las nubes cubrirán el norte de las islas y podría registrarse también alguna lluvia débil en las de mayor relieve.
Respecto a la cota de nieve, en el cuadrante noroeste se situará entre los 1.200 y los 2.000 metros de altura al principio del día y descenderá hasta los 800 a 1.000 metros al final del día.
Las temperaturas experimentarán un ascenso ligero a moderado en la Península, salvo en el litoral este peninsular y Baleares, donde las máximas permanecerán sin cambios y las mínimas descenderán de forma ligera a moderada. Por su parte, en Canarias habrá pocos cambios.
