Ceuta vive muy de cerca la inmigración, ¿medidas como el contrato que propone el PP no caen mal?
La ciudad es muy pequeña y no cabemos todos. Por eso, el discurso de control de la inmigración del PP es bien acogido.
Usted es musulmana, ¿no se siente lejos de sus dirigentes, tan orgullosamente católicos?
Al contrario. Las tres religiones monoteístas son muy parecidas: coincidimos en nuestras posturas en cuanto a la familia o el aborto. Me siento mucho más identificada con un partido cercano al catolicismo que con uno que defienda el laicismo.
Ceuta es una mezcla de culturas e idiomas. ¿El PP trabaja para que todas sean visibles?
La ciudad es muy diversa: la prueba está en el mismo PP, en el que hay desde hindúes hasta hebreos o musulmanes. Se respeta todo, pero tenemos claro que esta es una ciudad española y que el idioma que se habla en la administración y de cara al público es el español.
¿Qué critica de la dirección de su partido?
Nada. Han trabajado no en las mejores circunstancias: a todos los del PP nos han acusado de radicales o de insolidarios sólo por ser del partido. No ha sido fácil.
