El coronel Javier Hertfelder de Aldecoa será a partir de hoy el primer jefe de la Fuerza de Guerra Naval Especial que crea la Armada Española en Cartagena.
El acto se celebrará a las 12,30 horas en la Estación Naval de La Algameca, donde tiene su base la unidad del Tercio de Levante de la Infantería de Marina de la Armada.
Este acuartelamiento forma parte de la "Fuerza de Protección" y su misión es la seguridad de todas las instalaciones militares desde el cabo de Creus al Cabo de Gata incluyendo los acuartelamientos de las Islas Baleares.
El comandante general de la Infantería de Marina, el general de división Juan Chicharro Ortega, presidirá hoy en la Estación Naval de La Algameca en Cartagena la ceremonia de creación de la Fuerza de Guerra Naval Especial.
El acto se cerrará con la entrega del mando de la nueva unidad por parte del general Chicharro al coronel Javier Hertfelder, que se convertirá de este modo en el primer jefe de esta Fuerza Especial de la Armada española.
